Prenatal Yoga is is offered to all women in any stage of pregnancy. This class can help improve breathing and focus, calming the nerves and softening the body in preparation for birth.
A short discussion period also helps to connect with other women who are sharing the same experiences.
Drop In Classes offered Thursday 6:45-7:45pm
If you cannot make this class but would still like to practice yoga, contact the studio and we can recommend another class on our schedule that may be suitable.

Doula Services & Breastfeeding Support
If you are looking for additional assistance for your birth, a doula will help you and your partner throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum. Your doula is your birth assistant, staying with your throughout your entire birth, offering comfort measures to keep you comfortable and helps you to understand the choices and options that arise during labour and delivery. A doula does not replace your medical caregiver or your partner.
In home Breastfeeding Support is also available, once your baby has arrived.

Maryann Herlinger is a trained Doula, Childbirth Educator, Breastfeeding Specialist and Yoga Instructor. She has attended over 200 births and has been working with women and their families for almost 20 years.

Labour Preparation for Couples brings you both together to discover the possiblities for your labour through discussion and practicing labour tools, such as massage, breathing and support.
This class is designed for first time parents as an educational companion to your Prenatal Education Classes and is a perfect refresher for second (or third) time parents.
Although this class should be taken in the third trimester it is important to pre-register early to ensure a space.
This program is open to couples of all orientations or for women who are chosing to have more than one support person present.

Meditations for Childbirth
Connecting the mind and body together are key to relaxation in childbirth.
Join us for a practice of visualization, breathing and connection to your baby.
Authentically you both know what to do, but sometime just letting go is all you need.

Women's Yoga for Menstruation (moon cycle) and Fertility.

The stresses of our daily life, improper nutrition and lack of sleep can all contribute to the difficulties in conception and maintaining a pregnancy and the discomforts experienced during the monthly cycle.
Specific yoga postures & sequences, visualizations and breathing techniques can all contribute to the relaxation of your body, which contributes greatly to bring your body back into its natural rhythm.
