Maryann Herlinger began her journey to yoga, first as a Prenatal Instructor, certified through Women's College Hospital in Toronto and then as a Doula, assisting women, their partner and family through the birth of their child. Noticing the similarities between connecting the mind and body together in birth and in her own budding yoga practice, she began teaching prenatal yoga. Understanding the need to further her own studies, in 2001 she completed a 200 hour Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher Training under the guidance of Michael Siddall at the Yoga Studio in Toronto.
She has continues her studies in yoga attending retreats, workshops and courses throughout North America and has attained specialty certifications in Pre & Post Natal Yoga and Therapeutic Restorative Yoga. She leads yoga classes as a treatment option in hospitals and care centres, including Wellspring Cancer Centre - Chinguacousy in Brampton. www.wellspring.ca.

Brian J. D'Souza is a certified instructor in both Hatha and Ashtanga yoga through The Yoga Sanctuary's 250 hour teacher training program. His teachers have included Cynthia Funk, Ian MacDonald, and a host of other talented instructors who have one thing in common - their belief in yoga's ability to transform lives.
All day, we have a million thoughts that dance inside our minds. But once class starts, we begin to focus and gradually find a point of relaxation that frees us from the cacophony and dissonance. That's the beauty of our practice, something that needs to be experienced time and time again. |

Kathy Ong graduated from University of Toronto with a B.Sc and started an 8 year career in the Pharmaceutical industry. She worked in the clinical research phase of drug development and worked with various drug companies. These opportunities allowed her to see the various dis-eases out there, the current therapies available and various drugs being developed. There was a component of healing that seemed to be missing, so she pursued studies in energy healing.
She began the Holistic Health Practitioner programme at the Transformational Arts College in 2007, where whe was trained in different holistic modalities such as: reiki, reflexology, aromatherapy, massage, subtle aromatherapy, chakra balancing, medical intuition, colour therapy and sound healing. She completed her Reiki Master level in 2008.
She quit her career in the pharmaceutical industry to pursue her passion for energy work. She volunteers at Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Centre in Brampton as a Reiki practioner. Kathy continues to refine her interests by continuing with her studies in the different modalities and loves to share her knowledge of energy with others.
