Maryann Herlinger has been practicing and studying Yoga for over 14 years, beginning as a Prenatal Instructor, certified through Women's College Hospital in Toronto and as a Doula, attending over 300 births since 1996, assisting women, their partner and family on the journey of the birth of their child.
Noticing the similarities between connecting the mind & body together in birth and the practice of yoga, she completed a 360 hour Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Yoga Studio in Toronto in 2000.
Striving to constantly learn and remain updated in the yoga practice, she continues her studies attending retreats, workshops and courses throughout North America, learning from Stephen Cope,
Shiva Rae, David Life, Don Stapelton, Angela Farmer & many other teachers.
The journey of yoga has lead to focussing on the therapeutic aspects of yoga for stress, injury & disease. She has attained specialty certifications in Pre & Post Natal Yoga, Therapeutic Restorative Yoga and Childrens Yoga and has been featured on CityTV/Breakfast Television.
